- 111 swimmers
- Derwentwater, Lake District
At 11am on Remembrance Day 2018 111 swimmers will enter Derwentwater in the Lake District and swim 1km to remember those who endured something extraordinary for us…
There will be some prayers before the swimmers enter the water; and as they swim a trumpet player will play the last post to mark the end of the war.
The challenge is being organised by the open water swimming company Swim on the Wild Side – we are very grateful to them.
