The Race to the King is a double marathon distance along the South Downs Way, an ancient path along the ridge of chalk hills. Not only does the route offer breathe-taking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, there are also numerous historical sites along the way to pique the interest.
As part of my training I will be taking part in the Brighton Marathon (Completed), Milton Keynes Marathon (Completed), Richmond Park Marathon (Completed) and a marathon distance time trial in Walton on Thames with a 31 mile final training run before the big day! Since when did running a marathon become just a training run??? When you become an Ultra Runner that’s when!
